Tom Lash

Used to play the bass in Cleveland bands System 56 and Lucky Pierre. Later he formed Hot Tin Roof with Greg Zydyk and releases records on his own Barbed Wire Recordings label. Lash is also known for being an old friend (and former roommate) of Trent Reznor. According to one story, these two, and another friend of Trent's were hired by Martin Atkins when his band Brian Brain was playing in Cleveland. He needed a horn section! Amazingly enough, Atkins later said that this was the only time using local talent for the horn section came off. Lash commented this by saying "It was only because we rehearsed..." In 2003 Tom took up the role of Bass Player again next to long time friend and collaborator Kevin McMahon in McMahon's reformed band Prick for their scattered live shows across the US. Anyone who attended any of the shows will tell you Tom was as tight as ever and put on one hell of a show.
