Jacques Jacobs And His Orchestra

Orchestra led by Belgian violinist Jacques Jacobs. The orchestra became famous as the house orchestra of the Trocadero Restaurant in London. In late 1912 and early 1913, it toured South Africa. Between September 1918 and March 1919 and from January to October 1920, the orchestra played at the Royal Avenue Picture House in Belfast, Northern Ireland. In the late 1920s, they recorded several titles for [l=Columbia].
