Cara Winter

Cara wrote and recorded her first album, 'Butterfly', at the age of 18. This received much praise and PRS Magazine hailed her 'an artist to look out for'. 2008 brought album 'Peter And The Whale'. A mature move, lyrically and musically, from her debut. Cara began performing with a band, which included her father, Shakatak guitarist Keith Winter, and began to gig regularly in and around London. Cara also began to perform with cellist Nick Cooper (Goldfrapp, Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush) who she has recently recorded her third album with. This album includes songs, new and old, with orchestral and quartet string arrangements. Gigging and planning to record album number four in the Summer, 2013 is looking to be a busy year.
