Ed Cox
Ed Cox is an accordion player/musician/producer from Cambridge, UK. His love of traditional music inspired him to use folky melodies when writing jungle and tekno. The result was CLOWNCORE. He plays Clowncore live in venues across the world, and more recently, has taken it to the streets and to festivals, busking and playing whenever he can. He is a member of the Life4Land Collective, known for their music, art and antics from within the free party scene. He is usually most recognisable by his skills on the accordian, which he uses in his production, and also plays live. Ed produces everything from dub to ragga-jungle, to hardcore-breakcore business, with ska-gypsy-madness accordian on top. He also makes beats alongside fellow Life4Land member [a=Stivs] for side project, The DSC (Dog Shit Crew). His first two albums, Hardcordian and Clowncore were released on CD by Life4Land, and many of his tracks are also available on other 12" Life4Land releases. He also released a live 7" in 2009 named 'Live À La Miroiterie'.
