Aikakone

Finnish dance-pop group founded in 1993 by composer/producer Marko "Maki" Kolehmainen. Aikakone gained huge success in Finland on their initial run between 1995–1998 after which they went on a hiatus. In 2001 they returned as Aika and released one album in English before taking another break in 2003. In 2008 they returned again as Aikakone and continued performing. Founder Maki Kolehmainen died on June 3, 2024. Current line-up: Alex (Alex Ojasti) - vocals (1993–present) Sani (Saija Aartela) - vocals (1994–present) Former members: Maki (Marko Kolehmainen) - guitar, vocals, producer (1993–2024; died 2024) Vera (Heidi Puurula) - vocals (1993–2013) Jazu (Jasmin Hertzberg) - vocals (2013–2016) Jenna (Jenna Välikangas) - vocals (2016–2020)
