BeatPete

Berlin based german DJ and vinyl nerd [a=BeatPete], began djing and collecting a decade ago, and to this day, he's dedicated to vinyl only. His crates include Hip Hop/ Instrumental Hip Hop, Funk, Soul, Jazz, Library Music,… all of which are not collecting dust, but get spun on a regular. On his YouTube channel, [a=BeatPete] drops his Vinyl Sessions presented by [l=HHV.DE], twice monthly, featuring his latest pick ups alongside some older gems. Additionally he takes his Vinyl Sessions to Cafe Wendel in Kreuzberg / Berlin once a month, often inviting other strictly vinyl DJ's to present some dope on plastic. For about 2 years now, [a=BeatPete] and co-founder [a=Marian Tone] have been putting on the Backyard Joints. A party focusing on new and old underground Hip Hop, the Arts of beat making as well as a healthy dose of Jazz & Funk. The event gives Beatmakers from all over a platform to present their craft at Panke in Berlin. [a=BeatPete] drops free download mixes regularly on his Soundcloud page and has released the first episode of his new mixtape series called “[r=6401592]” through [l=HHV.DE], available on cassette. He's taken his crate all over Germany, across the border to Paris & Rennes (FR), Barcelona (SP), Pila (PL), Vienna (AT) and festivals like the Dooinit Festival as well as the Splash Festival. BeatPete shared the stage with artists like [a=Klaus Layer], [a=J-Zen], [a=Wun Two], [a=FloFilz], [a=Beatvadda], [a=Kalhex] (Lex, Parental & Le Makizar), [a=Pete Flux], [a=A Cat Called FRITZ], [a=Freddie Joachim], [a=Suff Daddy], [a=Figub Brazlevič], Chief, [a=Melodiesinfonie], [a=Maloon TheBoom], [a=Demograffics], [a=dude&phaeb], [a=Bajka], [a=Brous One], [a=Simiah], [a=Kayo] amongst others.
