Donna Hightower

December 28, 1926 – August 19, 2013. Born in Caruthersville, Missouri, she was an American R&B, Soul, and Jazz singer, best known in the "Northern Soul" scene around the UK and Europe. In the 70s she had her main success being based in Spain and writing songs together with Danny Daniel. She moved to Austin, Texas in 1990.
