Rolf Erik Syversen

Norwegian guitarist. Born in 1942 and died 3. October 2021. Educated as a classical guitarist at Norges Musikkhøgskole, as well as studying guitar and plectrum playing under professor Bjørn Fongaard in Oslo. He first appeared on Norwegian television Nrk at the age of 12. He was later hired by Nrk as a musician, and appeared in the TV program "Husker du" as well as several other radio and TV programs. He worked as a studio musician and a restaurant musician in Oslo, and on cruise ships like the Kiel ferries, the Oslo-Fjord-N and the Norwegian America Line (Den Norske Amerikalinje) sailing between Oslo and New York. He was also a music teacher at Gausdal kulturskole for 11 years.
