Ron Wilson (5)

Drummer who played in the legendary surf-rock band, [a=The Surfaris]. He is most well known for his energetic drumming in the song "Wipe Out" and for co-writing the song together with [a=Jim Fuller], [a=Patrick Connolly] and [a=Bob Berryhill]. Ron was the singer on their hit "Surfer Joe" recorded at [a=Paul Buff]'s Pal Studios in Cucamonga, CA in January 1963. During the late 1970s and early 1980s, Wilson was the drummer for the [a=Monica Dupont] band. Born: June 26, 1944 Los Angeles CA Died: May 12, 1989 Placer County, CA (Brain aneurysm)
