Kathryne Steele
American soprano (born July 9, 1923 in Antrim, PA – died April 23, 2018 in Los Angeles, CA) Trained as an operatic soprano at the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia, Steele married fellow Curtis graduate, violinist [a=Paul Nero (2)] in 1942. After both relocated to Los Angeles in 1948, she recorded many covers of current pop hits with budget labels such as [l=Ace-Hi Hits], [l=Music Masters (2)], and [l='Pop' Hits].
