Mike Demers (2)

Canadian singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer. Originally from Saskatchewan, he moved to Victoria, British Columbia in 1988. He played with bands including Jho Nek Bone, Nuvo Wavo, Aurel Sect, The Politics of Dancing, Beatles Revolution, and The Lonely. He also worked as a social worker, musical therapist and counselor. Demers died May 2020 at age 63 following complications from a bone marrow transplant.
