Daniele Labbate [ aka Daniel Monaco aka Disco Mortale ] is an Italian Bass player Synths player and producer living in Amsterdam, founder of UMEME ( hybrid Acid Techno Disco trio ) Umeme released few vinyl on labels such as Mawimbi, Trax Records & More, he is also know as Daniel Monaco (Italo, Disco & Cosmic Disco producer & DJ ) with Releases on Bordello a Parigi (VA Vinyl) Slow Motion (Cassette Tape Release) & many other , Daniele is also member of the VS project a collaboration between UMEME & Africaine 808 , in his career as Bass player Daniele shared the stage with many different artists like Mad Professor, Jan Akkerman, Shaking Godspeed, Kane & more. He is currently active as Daniel Monaco and as head of UMEME, Daniele also works together with Mauritian based label called Babani also part of the label's band called Babani Soundsystem, the label's aim is to creates a mix of traditional music from the Indian Ocean and electric electronic influences their first release is on the legendary On The Corner label.
