Ramon Armengod

Ramon Armengod was a Mexican actor, singer, composer and film producer born in the Port of Veracruz on October 15, 1908. At the beginning of his career he made friends with Emilio Tuero, Tito GuĂ­zar, Antonio Badu and Jorge Negrete. He left recordings on Peerless (1929-1935), RCA twice (1935-1939) and (1942-1947), Decca (1939-1942) and Philmos (1947-1948). He formed the duet "Par De Ases" with Emilio Tuero in 1936 and with Jorge Negrete the duet "The Mexican Caballeros", in 1960 he briefly retired from his career, resuming it in 1975: the year in which he died on October 31 on the Acapulco highway. -Mexico at the height of Chilpancingo.
