Christina Lindberg

Swedish country and dance band singer, born November 4, 1968 in Gustav Adolf's parish in Helsingborg. Lindberg has sung together with the dance band Lasse Stefanz. The group's song The last sweet years were on the Svensktoppen for 65 weeks from February 1989 to 1990. She has also had her own dance band, Christina Lindbergs orkester. She has released half a dozen albums and a dozen singles. Nowadays touring as a solo artist. In 2013, Christina Lindberg, together with the author Vesna Maldaner, wrote the book The first sweet years (and the overly thick thighs ...). The book is an autobiography where she tells about her upbringing and her, sometimes tough, path to the top of the country. Christina Lindberg is the daughter of the musicians Hjalmar Algotsson-Lindberg and Siv, unmarried Paulsson, and the aunt of Christopher Heino-Lindberg. She grew up in Höganäs. Lindberg is married to Tommy Wigardt (born 1960) since 2005.
