James & Bobby Purify

Soul duo formed in 1965 by cousins [a1749888] and [a2647707] (real name Robert Lee Dickey). Robert adopted his cousins name for the duo. Robert retired from the music business for health reasons in 1969 and was replaced by [a1261177] who adopted the stage name [a1031578]. The duo continued to use the 'James & Bobby Purify' name.
