John Roberts

US singer, trumpeter, songwriter, arranger, conductor, orchestrator (born in Houston in 1941). He was discovered in 1965 by Bob Garner, one of Don Robey’s talent scouts, and got a contract with Duke Records. Worked most notably for [a=Barry White]. His most known recording is "Sockin' 1-2-3-4". He is currently the head of the Music Department at Centennial High School in Compton, California.
