Kostas Konitopoulos, Greek folk singer of the Cycladic style. Born in Kinidaros, Naxos island, Greece. Son of [a=Μιχάλης Κονιτόπουλος] and brother of [a=Ειρήνη Κονιτοπούλου-Λεγάκη], [a=Γιώργος Κονιτόπουλος], [a=Αγγελική Κονιτοπούλου] & [a=Βαγγέλης Κονιτόπουλος]. Nephew of [a=Δημήτρης Φυρογένης]. Cousin of [a=Κούλα Κονιτοπούλου]. Brother-in-law of [a=Αικ. Κονιτοπούλου] (Yorgos' spouse). Uncle of [a=Ελένη Λεγάκη] (Irene's daughter), [a=Νάσια Κονιτοπούλου] (Yorgos' daughter), [a=Στέλλα Κονιτοπούλου] (Angeliki's daughter), [a=Βασίλης Κλουβάτος] (Angeliki's son), [a=Μαρία Κονιτοπούλου] (Angeliki's daughter), and [a=Μιχάλης Κονιτόπουλος (2)] (Vangelis' son). In 1979, the five siblings opened the legendary 'Muragio' club together, which closed in the late 1980s.
