Lasse Englund

Swedish guitarist and producer, born November 25, 1951. Englund started playing guitar as early as 1961 and since his debut under his own name in 1974 as a guitarist or producer has appeared on a large number of Swedish music albums. He has collaborated with, among others, Björn Afzelius, Thomas Almqvist, Aston Reymers Rivaler, Rune Andersson, Efva Attling, Marie Bergman, Thorstein Bergman, Maria Blom, Eva Dahlgren, Annika Fehling, Greg FitzPatrick, Kajsa Grytt, Ted Gärdestad, Jan Hammarlund, Harv , Ann-Kristin Hedmark, Hedningarna, Eva Hillered, Louise Hoffsten, Toni Holgersson, John Holm, Maritza Horn, Melissa Horn, Kjell Höglund, Gösta Linderholm, Ulf Lundell, Turid Lundqvist, Ola Magnell, Totta Näslund, Mikael Ramel, Pugh Rogefeldt, Irma Schultz, Pierre Ström, Ted Ström, Lasse Tennander, Monica Törnell, Jojje Wadenius, Totte Wallin, Cornelis Vreeswijk, Monica Zetterlund and Fred Åkerström. Englund was awarded a Grammy in 1994 as producer of the year and the Guitar Peoples Prize in 2002. The first time he was married from 1975–1979 to Maj Schytz (born 1951) and the second time from 1981 to the artist [a348359].
