Fläskkvartetten

Fläskkvartetten or Fleshquartet is a Swedish music group, formed in 1983. The ensemble consists of electrified string instruments and percussion. The name of Fläskkvartetten is an allusion to the more traditional string ensemble [a1925634]. The style is difficult to determine genre, with influences from symphonic music as well as rock. The band has toured extensively, and has made music for theater, film and TV, and played on many Swedish records. Over the years, they have collaborated with such different artists as Freddie Wadling, Stina Nordenstam, Joakim Thåström, Robyn, Titiyo, Västerås Sinfonietta, Theodor Jensen, Christian Walz, Tim Wolde, Tant Strul and Ane Brun.
