Mongrels are (emcee) Kid Acne and (deejay) Benjamin. The duo joined forces through a shared love of hip-hop and graffiti in the mid 1990's, back when Benjamin was making pause-button tapes on a pair of belt-drive decks and young Kid Acne was genuinely a spotty teenager.
