Thomas Buckner

Thomas Buckner (b. 1941) is an American baritone vocalist performing contemporary classical music and improvised music. Buckner worked as a concert promoter in Berkeley (California, USA) by founding the 1750 Arch Concerts, which presented over a hundred musical events per year for eight years. He also founded the label [l=1750 Arch Records] which released more than fifty records. Buckner co-led the [a=Arch Ensemble] until he left California for New York City in 1983, where he began a long association with renowned composer [a=Robert Ashley]. In 2000, he founded [l=Mutable Music].
