PEDRA CONTIDA

Given the nature of the location where the group was created (Aldeia da Cerdeira, Serra da Lousã), this quintet develops a musical work within the parameters of the definition or contradiction of silence versus sound, giving rise to the "abstract" definition of Pedra Contida (Contained Stone). A collective that is characterized by melodic restraint and pervasive silence. If some tradition comes from the new musical approaches of the twentieth century can be said then, that the addition of these five musicians did not happen by accident.
