Cat Stevens

British singer-songwriter born in London on July 21, 1948. His musical career was interrupted in 1969 when he contracted tuberculosis. He converted to Islam in 1977, adopting the name Yusuf Islam the following year. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2014.
