Honey Boy

UK reggae singer, composer, television actor and playwright, best known for his lovers rock recordings. Not to be confused with [a116708]. Born in Jamaica in 1955 and moved to the UK in the late 1960s. He worked as a backing singer with producer [a=Laurel Aitken] and as a salesman for [a=Junior Lincoln] before recording [url=https://www.discogs.com/master/707563]Jamaica[/url] for [l=Trojan Records] and [url=https://www.discogs.com/release/6892634]Homeward Bound[/url] for [l55249] in 1971. He launched the labels [l193345], [l188253] (with [a7239336]) and Akin in 1975; [l1086249] in 1976; and [l299961] and [l59830] with [a3412878] in 1978.
