Flyboys

American punk rock band formed in 1975 in Arcadia, California by: John Curry (aka [i]Jon Boy[/i], guitar, vocals), David Wilson (aka [i]David Way[/i], bass, vocals), Dennis Walsh (aka [i]Dennis Rackett[/i] / [i]Denny Drummond[/i], drums). In 1976 Scott Lasken (aka [i]Scott Towels[/i]) joined on bass; Wilson to switch to keyboards. In early 1978, David Wilson died in an auto accident shortly after a show at which the band opened for the Go Go's and The Avengers. Flyboys released their debut single in 1977 Flyboys self-released their second single in 1979, which was recorded by Wilson. With Thames Sinclair joining on guitar, in 1980 Flyboys released on [l33807] the mini-LP [i]Flyboys.[/i] The band broke up in 1980. After the split up in 1981 Curry, Lasken and Sinclair formed [a=Choir Invisible]; Walsh joined [a=The Crowd (4)].
