Amy Domingues

Cellist, viola da gamba player, teacher, and composer residing in Washington, DC. Active as a chamber musician in various classical ensembles and also as a recording artist in her own right. She has released three cello-driven folk-rock albums under the name "Garland of Hours" and has contributed her skills as a session musician on over 70 records by indie-rock, electronic and classical artists. In 2003, she co-composed the score to the Oscar-nominated documentary "The Weather Underground" with her [a=Threnody Ensemble] colleague [a=Dave Cerf].
