Ann Christy

Belgian (Flemish) singer born in 1945 in Antwerp and died on 7 August 1984 of cervical cancer at the age of 38. Started out as singer with [a=The Adams (2)], the group in which her husband [a=Marc Hoyois] played drums. In 1966 she toured with [a=Adamo] and became primarily known with a French-speaking audience, but later scored several hits in Dutch. In 1975 she represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest.
