Thomas Lang

Liverpool based singer and songwriter, who has long performed under a stage name to avoid confusion with [a=Tom Jones]. The original phase of his career in the 80s and 90s was closely tied to a five-member band of the same name, who together composed and performed two albums on CBS and Epic, and toured countries such as Britain and Japan. The band then independently founded the record company [l=Dry Communications Ltd.] and self-released its next album, then collaborated with [a=The Listening Pool] to release a fourth album, while continuing to release in Japan on [l=Portazul] under major label [l=Nippon Columbia Co., Ltd.] After an extended hiatus of nearly two decades and entrepreneurial activities including taking over [l=Parr Street Studios] in Liverpool, Lang has returned to recording and live performances as a solo artist.
