Fabrice Millischer

Fabrice Millischer is a French trombonist and cellist. Born: 1985 Fabrice Millischer began his musical studies at the Conservatoire de Musique de Toulouse. He began with the piano but it is in the cello and trombone that he stands out with two first prizes. He then perfected his skills at the [l787461] in the classes of [a1022692] and [a2188820] for the trombone and in the class of [a1587357] for the sackbut, while at the same time conducting his cello studies with [a500672], [a1591182] and Xavier Philips at the [l1014340]. He won First Prize at the ARD International Competition in Munich. He is a laureate of numerous International Trombone Competitions in Budapest in 2005, sackbutt in Toulouse in 2006, and Munich in 2007. Honored in 2009 with the Silver Medal of the Academy of Arts and Letters, in 2011 he was named Revelation of the Victoires de la Musique Classique. He is professor of trombone at the Musickhochschule Freiburg and at the [l1014340]. He was principal trombone in the [a2248354].
