Shock One started out as two guys from Perth, Australia, Jay Burns & Karl Thomas. They'd been in a metal band with [a=Rob Swire] & [a=Gareth McGrillen], and after they left to form Pendulum, Jay & Karl formed Shock One. Later Jay Burns left Shock One, leaving just Karl Thomas.
