Puerto Rican singer, Yolanda Rivera (born in Ponceña, 30 Jun. 1951) is considered one of the most famous and leading singers of the [a3381508], with songs like "Rumba en el patio" and "Madrugador". Nicknamed La Dama de la Salsa, Yolandita includes a musical repertoire that includes salsa, plena, bolero, guaguanco, son montuno and guaracha. She sang in New York and Panama with Willie Rosario (~1969 to 1972), then back in Puerto Rico in 1973 with Roberto Berrios y su Changó, in 1976 with Orquesta La Terrífica, with La Sonora Ponceña (1977 to 1984), in 1986 with Gabino Pampini's Fuerza Noble, in 1988 with Rubby Haddock.
