Lollipop (2)

Lollipop, a girl group from Italy, were formed in 2001 on the international television sensation Popstars (originated in New Zealand), a precursor to the Idol shows. They sang in English and Italian and were very popular in Italy. In spring 2004 the band announced they would no longer perform together, instead pursuing individual careers in music and television. In early 2013 the group riformed without Dominique Fidanza and played several performances. In June 2013 the four remaining members released the new digital single Ciao (Reload) Since 2014, due to some problems to carry on the project and to general lack of interest, the band is currently inactive. In 2018 Lollipop come back to the scenes as a trio, without Roberta Ruiu, and release a new single titled Ritmo Tribale.
