Eddy Wally
Eddy Wally (Eduard Van De Walle, 12 July 1932 – 6 February 2016) was a Belgian singer from Zelzate, East Flanders, and the once self-proclaimed "Voice of Europe". During his lengthy career he recorded more than 500 songs. There's probably not a single Flemish person who hasn't heard at least one of his tunes. His biggest hit in Belgium and Holland was "Chérie", which went double platinum. He has also performed in several large countries, among which China, U.S.A. and the former U.S.S.R.
