Gerd Natschinski

German composer, conductor and arranger (* 23 August 1928 in Chemnitz, German Empire; † 04 August 2015 in Berlin, Germany). Nick-name: "Natsch" From 1949-1952, he was conductor of the [a=Rundfunk Tanzorchester Leipzig]. In 1952, he became conductor of the [a=Rundfunk-Tanzorchester Berlin]. Schoolboy by [a=Hanns Eisler] from 1951-53. Gerd Natschinski wrote and arranged music for Radio, Operetta, (TV)-Motion Pictures, Dancing-Events so that he was one of the most regarded Musicians in East Germany. His son [a=Thomas Natschinski] also started a musical career with a own band [a=Thomas Natschinski Und Seine Gruppe].
