The Chimes

Early 1990s Scottish dance group in the vein of [a=Soul II Soul] and [a=Young Disciples] & [a=Brand New Heavies]. The trio's style overlapped somewhat with acid jazz, R&B, and downtempo club electronic, having those traits in common with the aforementioned UK groups; and, in addition, sharing similarly strong and soulful female vocals courtesy of lead singer [a=Pauline Henry].
