Tomas Haake

Swedish drummer and songwriter in Meshuggah, born July 13, 1971 in Örnsköldsvik. He is known for his technical abilities. In 2012, Haake was voted the 5th best Modern Metal drummer by MetalSucks.net. In the July 2008 issue of Modern Drummer magazine, Haake was voted the leading drummer in the "Metal" category in the magazine's Readers Poll. In 2016, Tomas Haake was voted into the top 100 best drummers of all time by Rolling Stone. Haake writes the majority of Meshuggah's lyrics and also contributes recitatives on several songs.
