"Bob Haring was the musical director of Cameo Records for the greater part of their existence [...] most of the sides issued by the Cameo Dance Orchestra can be ascribed to him [...] (Brian Rust, The American dance band discography 1917-1942, Arlington House, 1975, p. 257) On some 78s, however, this artist credit was also used as a pseudonym for Bob Haring and his Orchestra, Henry Santrey and his Orchestra, Dixie Daisies ("itself probably a pseudonym"), Paul van Loan and his Orchestra, and Arthur Lange and his Orchestra, as well as on a number of recordings which has not been properly identified.
