Brendan Canty

American musician born March 9th 1966 in Teaneck, New Jersey, USA. Brendan Canty was a founding member and drummer for the bands [a=Fugazi] and [a=Rites of Spring], plus he founded [a=Deathfix] in 2009 — playing guitar and singing. Brendan has been making music, producing records, and making films in the Washington D.C. area since 1980. Canty has also produced records for people like [a=Ted Leo], [a=The Make-Up], and [a=The Thermals] and played drums with [a=Bob Mould] and [a=Eddie Vedder]. Brendan is the brother of [a=James Canty].
