Clark Yocum

American jazz guitarist and vocalist. Born : April 19, 1912 in Sunbury, Pennsylvania. Died : January 13, 1993 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Yocum played (banjo and guitar) with "Mal Hallett's Orchestra" (1934-'37). Clark also belonged to (from 1940 - 1967) the vocal group "The Pied Pipers" replacing Billy Wilson, as well as The Boys Next Door (backing up June Hutton on her solo records in the 1950s) and vocal quartet The Dolphins in the mid-1950s. Clark also recorded as member of vocal group "4 Hits and a Miss", backing up Bing Crosby and Jane Wyman on "In the cool, cool, cool of the evening" in 1951.
