Николай Горшков

Nikolai Gorshkov is a Russian double bass-player. Born on December 13, 1981 in the Moscow region. Began studying double bass at the age of 12. In 2004, he graduated from the Moscow Conservatory, class of Professor Mikhail Nikolaevich Kekshoev. In 2007, he completed his postgraduate studies at the Moscow Conservatory, faculty of "Orchestra of Contemporary Music". From 1999 to 2010 - soloist of the ensemble "Studio for New Music". Since 2003 - artist of the orchestra of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia. Since 2009 - artist of the orchestra "Music Viva". Collaborated with many orchestras and ensembles of Russia, and took part in Russian and foreign tours.
