Born: October 14, 1949, Waldheim, Saskatchewan, Canada Dave "The Hammer" Schultz is a former professional ice hockey player and coach. He played in the NHL (National Hockey League) for the [a4996301] (1971-76), the Los Angeles Kings (1976-77), the Pittsburg Penguins (1977-79) and the [a4094849] (1979-80). He still holds the NHL record for the most penalty minutes in a single season with 472 during the 1974-75 campaign.
