Lobo y Melón was a Mexican son and salsa group formed in 1958. Founded by the percussionist Carlos Daniel "Lobo" Navarro and the singer [a2975826]. Members included [a6607880] (piano), Manuel "Perrote" Osorio (trumpet), Andrés "Mucha Trampa" López (bass) and Mario "Cholito" González (timbal), Ángel "El Cucarachito" Martínez, Crescencio "El Pajarito" Guzmán, and Luis Ortega.
