Olivia Block

Musician, media artist and composer in Chicago, Illinois. Block uses chamber instrumentation, field recordings and digital effects and synthesis. Alongside her audio releases, she produces site-specific installations as well as scores for performance and film. Block’s music career began in Austin, Texas in the 1990s where she played in bands including The Thorns and The Marble Index.
