Emer Buckley

Harpsichord player Born in Dublin, Ireland, Emer Buckley took up the harpsichord while studying at University College, Dublin. She then attended various courses in France and Italy and finally settled in Paris to begin her career as soloist and continuo player. She has recorded for the labels Harmonia Mundi, Adda, Erato, Mandala and Ligia Digitals. Since 1994 she is harpsichordist of the Lachrimae Consort. Emmer Buckley teaches harpsichord and continuo at the Conservatoire National De Région, in Lille, France.
