Anthony White

American soul, disco, house music, singer born in Philadelphia. In 1975 he was signed to [l=Philadelphia International]. He released one album spawning hits like the cover of [a=Barry Manilow]'s classic, "Could It Be Magic". One of his highlights is 1977's one-off single at [l=Salsoul Records], "I Can't Turn You Loose". In the 1980's he teamed up with [a=Paul Simpson] as a featured vocalist on his version of the tune 'Walk Away From Love' (a song first made popular by David Ruffin).
