Joachim-Ernst Berendt (July 20, 1922 in Berlin - February 4, 2000 in Hamburg, Germany) was a music journalist, book author and producer specialized on Jazz. He has compiled and curated various publications about jazz and classical music and published "The World Is Sound: Nada Brahma: Music and the Landscape of Consciousness".
