Original Tuxedo Jazz Orchestra

[a326842], a trumpet player, was leader of The Original Tuxedo Orchestra that played at Harry Parker‘s (AKA Abraham Shapiro) Tuxedo Dance Hall and after it‘s shutdown in 1917 in the crescent city of New Orleans for more than half a century. After Oscar Celestin‘s Death in 1954, [a2147161], also known as „Papa“ French, a banjo player in the orchestra, took over the leadership and renamed it The Original Tuxedo Jazz Band. Papa French passed away in 1977 and his two sons carried on tradition and changed the name to [a=The Tradition Hall Jazz Band].
