Kenneth Graham is a distinguished veteran of the house and techno scene, known for his instantly recognizable sound that blends clinical precision with a funky edge. Originally from Los Angeles, Kenneth has been a defining presence in electronic music for over 30 years, with a career marked by more than 40 releases on highly-regarded international and domestic labels. Kenneth's journey into music began in 1984 when he bought his first synthesizer, a CS01. However, it wasn't until 1986 that he fully immersed himself in music production. His transition to the production side of electronic music was marked by his initial releases on City of Angels and Quake Records in 1995. Kenneth gained significant attention with his collaborations as Sun Children with David Alvarado on the legendary UK label, Peacefrog. In 1997, Kenneth founded his own label, Controlteam Records, known for its unique blend of deep house elements within a techno framework. The label's releases have since become highly collectible, celebrated for their timeless sound. His early recognition in publications such as Urb Magazine, which named him one of their “Next 100,” cemented his reputation as a forward-thinking artist. Over the next decade, Kenneth continued to produce music under his own name and various aliases for some of the most respected techno and house labels of the time, including Plastic City, Ovum, Immigrant, Spectral Sound, Groove On, Bomb Records, and Jump Recordings. His talents as a live DJ have taken him to numerous countries, including Switzerland, Canada, Mexico, South America, and across the United States. In addition to his music career, Kenneth has ventured into developing prototype MIDI controllers and sequencers, as well as creating his own firmware for music production. His creative pursuits extend beyond music; he has worked on public art installations and contributed to technical projects with SpaceX. Recently, Kenneth has been collaborating with a talented singer in the darkwave/synth-pop group Minor FX. Looking ahead, he plans to focus on building his next home studio and releasing new music. Fans can also anticipate reissues of his back catalog on vinyl, bringing his classic tracks to a new audience.
