Avalanche is a Norwegian disco and dance duo group founded in 1984 and consist of the married couple Kjetil Røsnes and Kirsti Johansen. The band has published two albums. The most known song is probably “Johnny Johnny Come Home” from their first album. The song was on the top of several European song lists. In France it sold almost 700.000 copies. The couple has also composed or produced many songs, and had a close collaboration with the recognized producers Stock, Aitken, Waterman. One example is Samantha Fox’s comeback song “Santa Maria”. They lived in Germany and France almost the whole 90s. After that they moved back to Norway. They'd later record as [a=K + K].
