EX2

Circa 1993, Vyrus, Syndrome, Origin, Digit 6, & Regret formed the Whittier, California group, Endangered Elements. Soon after, they officially made their first appearances on the underground cassette, Noise, a one-sided tape entirely produced by Awol One. The crew credits read, EE, which eventually in future releases became EX2 aka E Times Two. It wasn’t until 94/95 when Dust Off & Gel One aka Gel Roc were introduced to the crew and added to the roll call. After a slew of crew guest appearances on compilations, open mics, & shows, they went into the studio to record their first EP titled, "LMNTL Work" in 1998. While Origin left the crew shortly thereafter to deal with life’s trials. Syn crossed paths with Whittier producer, Sirk, who assumed the reigns of the crew and created Abolano Records. In 2000, E Times Two released their widely acclaimed full length album, "Undersounds of the 562", which featured guest appearances by Tommy V & Awol One. By that time, the crew identity was primarily Syn, Vyrus, & Gel; Digit and Regret focused on a sub-group that never came to fruition due to Digit’s incarceration while Dust Off branched out to pursue other musical avenues. In 2002, the mainstays of the crew released their next full length installment, Nemesis. After a 5 year hiatus, Gel Roc brought the crew together to commence a new album produced entirely by sinister beat maker, Mascaria, which would result in a classic album appropriately titled, Resurgence.
